SKINNY CUCUMBER COCKTAILS

JUST IN TIME FOR THE WEEKEND! 

Here are two of my favorite light + refreshing cucumber cocktail recipes!

SKINNY CUCUMBER BASIL LIME SPRITZER         

INGREDIENTS:  

• 2 OZ Cucumber Vodka (I chose EFFEN)
• 5 OZ Lime Perrier
• 1 TSP Organic Agave Nectar 
• 1/4 Juice of Fresh Lime
• 2-3 Fresh Basil Leaves 
• Cucumber (Garnish)

DIRECTIONS: 

• Add cucumber vodka, Lime Perrier, agave + fresh lime juice to shaker
• Add ice cubes to shaker
• STIR ingredients (do not shake unless you are looking to have a wet t-shirt contest) 
• Add ice cubes to tall glass (I recommend something pirate-esque)
• Add 2-3 fresh basil leaves to glass
• Stir mixture one more time in shaker + pour over ice
• Garnish with a shaved cucumber slice (kabob sticks work beautifully)
• Close your eyes and pretend you are getting drunk at the spa

The beautiful part of this cocktail is that you are 1) adding hydration (sparkling water) to your alcohol and 2) using agave nectar (all-natural + low glycemic)! This is a great beverage to sip on for a while without running the risk of getting too dehydrated.

SKINNY CUCUMBER LIME MARTINI

 INGREDIENTS:  

• 2 OZ Cucumber Vodka (I chose EFFEN)
• 4 OZ Sprite Zero
• 1/4 Juice of Fresh Lime
• Cucumber (Garnish)

DIRECTIONS: 

• Add cucumber vodka, Sprite Zero + fresh lime lime juice to shaker
• Add ice cubes to shaker
• STIR ingredients (do not shake unless you are attempting a cucumber martini volcano eruption)
• Pour into martini glass 
• Garnish with a cucumber slice

This is the most simple martini recipe! It is quick, easy, and freaking delicious. Pace yourself on these bad girls because they will trick you into thinking you are sipping on delicious cucumber air.

There are some awesome cucumber vodkas on the market right now. I chose EFFEN simply because I trusted the brand name, and love a f-word reference.
